What is Tinnitus?
Tinnitus or ringing in the ears is the sensation of hearing noises that aren’t external. The noises can be intermittent or continuous and can vary in volume.
The main causes of Tinnitus are trauma including surgery and prolonged exposure to loud noises such a machinery and music. Symptoms can include varying noises such as ringing, buzzing, high or low pitched sounds and can affect what you hear externally.
