Rachel Lewis

Hello, my name is Rachel. As a counsellor, I will work with you on your journey through
counselling. There are many hurdles we face in life and sometimes it can help to take time to look at them, finding your inner strengths and weaknesses.

I offer you a confidential space to talk about what you are struggling with. It is a safe space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours around the things that are most important to you. If you are not sure what you want to gain from counselling, we can work through this together to find the goals
that works for you.

Counselling can help you see things from another perspective, which can help you understand the reasons why you may behave or feel a certain way. This will empower you to create a place of acceptance and explore strategies that could work for you.

I always work in a non-judgmental way and sometimes I may challenge you. This can help gain more insight and awareness of who we are, helping you to make positive changes that can enrich your whole well-being.  I am flexible in my approach to the work we do together, depending on what suits
you the most. I am passionate about working with people.

Much of my background is working in health and social care settings in the community and NHS services. It was some life-changing events that led me to train as a counsellor. From my experience and training the areas I specialise in are:
 Anxiety
 Abuse
 Bereavement
 Depression
