What causes Agoraphobia?

Agoraphobia is a fear of something such as open or confined space. In some cases, it can lead a person to become fearful or unable to leave their own home. Most people with the condition also suffer from panic attacks.

Common causes result from a traumatic incident and inherited traits (eg. a parent may fear lifts and has passed this onto their child).
