Marie Yeo

Hello, My name is Marie. I have always offered free time to my community and currently volunteer with Torbay Domestic Abuse Service (TDAS) as a student hypnotherapist. I work with trauma, loss and bereavement and Neuro-linguistic programming or NLP.

Trauma Therapy- is a specific approach to therapy that recognises and emphasises understanding how the traumatic experience impacts our mental, behavioural, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being
Loss & Bereavement; Grieving allows us to heal, to remember with love and not pain. It is a process. One by one, you let go of things that have gone.
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a psychological approach that involves analysing strategies used by successful individuals and applying them to reach a personal goal. It relates thoughts, language, and patterns of behaviour learned through experience to specific outcomes.

Chris Fleet

Hi, my name is Chris, a former bricklayer by trade. My talking therapy training began some 15 or so years ago as a result of a loved one being mentally unwell. I wanted to help and sought how to do this. After much research, I trained as a hypnotherapist. In early 2000 I opened my own practice which I later expanded and formed The Devon Clinic CIC. With demand for my services outweighing availability, I formed The Devon School of Hypnotherapy to train hypnotherapists so that they too can support others. Since then, I have trained in CBT, conflict resolution, reducing parental conflict, trauma recovery, and addiction to name but a few.

Right now, things are tough, and even the best of us need support to maintain our mental wellbeing. I am offering a listening ear and a calming voice to anyone who needs someone to reach out to.

Trish Thomas

Hi, my name is Trish and I am a Counsellor. Counselling offers a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space for someone to talk about their troubles. I can help give you support to empower yourself and to find a way forward in your life. My approach is flexible. For example, I particularly enjoy using creative methods where appropriate as this can be a way to express emotions that maybe too difficult to talk about at first. In the past, I have greatly benefited from receiving counselling myself. I have knowledge and experience in areas which include bereavement, depression, stress, domestic abuse, eating disorders and postnatal depression.

Rosaleen Nelson

My name is Rosaleen Nelson, and I’m a trainee clinical hypnotherapist with an interest in how our thoughts create our reality. I love people and the human mind and have an empathetic and compassionate nature with a natural ability to help people see solutions and answers. I believe that hypnotherapy can help you change your life by changing the way you think, which in turn changes the way you feel. These may feel like extraordinary times, and we cannot change or control the world around us, but luckily we can control and change the world within us.
I look forward to hearing from you and offering support by way of hypnotherapy or just a chat.
Louise Dawkins

Louise Dawkins

My name is Louise Dawkins and I am a Registered Hypnotherapist and Psychosexual Hypnotherapist, and a registered nurse. As a nurse I have specialised within the field of Sexual Health for the last 10 years. I became interested in Hypnotherapy after receiving some sessions myself. These totally transformed my life.

I strongly feel that Hypnosis alongside my previous experience, is a fantastic medium to enable me to help people with not only ongoing sexual difficulties but also those anxiety, depression, PTSD, weight lose etc. I love the fact that Hypnotherapy can bring about such rapid and permanent changes to people’s lives. By using a client-centred holistic, non-judgemental approach, that focuses on the client’s future, and not their past, whilst allowing, if required, previous fears or anxieties to be overcome in a safe, relaxed and calming manner. Contact me if you have any concerns or anxieties that get in the way of the life you want to lead.

Simon Manley

Hi, my name is Simon Manley, and I am a trainee hypnotherapist based in Dartington.
My background is people-centric having been a mentor and trainer to people in the sales industry for nearly 25 years, helping them achieve their goals on both personal and professional levels. I am also a keen musician having worked on both a professional and amateur level in various roles from player to director and teacher in many different areas from small groups to orchestras and bands and in locations from gigs to theatre and studio environments. I firmly believe that music at all levels is a skill that brings people together on a level that not many other disciplines can.

During these trying times, I am available to anyone who feels that communicating their feelings with a therapist will be beneficial to them, be that on a hypnotherapy level to help relieve stress and anxiety or just simply to chat to someone new to help get them through.

Aline Petit

My name is Aline Petit, and as the name suggests, I am French, but I have lived in the UK for over 30 years. I am a qualified hypnotherapist registered with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council. I first became interested in the field when my teenage son was being bullied at college and started suffering from anxiety. It became very clear to me that not only was he going through a very tough time, but those around him were too.

My Key focus is to support teenagers and families who suffer from stress and anxiety. Often families feel helpless, and if I can help one teen feel like themselves again and support their family in the process, that is all the job satisfaction I need.
Current times are challenging, and many may feel lost as to where they can turn to, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am here to support individuals and their families during these uncertain times.

Jenny Lidster

Hello, I’m Jenny, a hypnotherapist based in east Devon. I decided to train in hypnotherapy after finding it was the solution to my own experience of living with anxiety and depression (and overeating in an attempt to manage those feelings). Hypnotherapy gave me that release from my own inner turmoil, and I feel fortunate to be able to now offer that same help to others.
I am also a trained mindfulness practitioner and find my personal practise helps me keep balance and perspective in my daily life, while juggling working (now from home) with a young family.

In these uncertain times we are living in, we all need to draw upon support to help us through. Together we are stronger, and I am here to listen and support you in whatever way is right for you.
